Pedestrian Hit & Killed by Two Vehicles in Huntington Beach

A pedestrian crossing Beach Blvd. in Huntington Beach Sunday night was struck by two vehicles and killed.

The pedestrian, 64-year-old Fred Lopez Gonzales of Huntington Beach, was crossing Beach Blvd., south of Ellis Ave. As Mr. Gonzales was crossing the southbound lanes of traffic, he was struck by a 1988 Oldsmobile Tornado sedan. The pedestrian was hit a second time by a 2008 Ford Ranger pickup truck.

After the impacts, both drivers stopped and cooperated with investigating officers from the Huntington Beach Police Department. According to police, no citations have been issued at this time.
