A Long Beach man was killed on Wednesday in a three-car accident in Huntington Beach.
The accident happened at 7:31 a.m. on Bolsa Chica St near Tasman Dr. A woman driving a Ford Bronco northbound on Bolsa Chica crossed the center divider into southbound lanes. She slammed into a Honda, killing its driver. A third vehicle traveling southbound on Bolsa Chica crashed into the wreckage, knocking the Bronco onto its roof.
The driver of the Honda, 30-year-old Long Beach resident Abraham Perez, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 7-month-old baby girl was a passenger in the Bronco, which flipped onto its roof.
Police are still investigating what caused the Bronco driver to veer into oncoming lanes.
