Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Police Department announced they are seeking the public's help in finding a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a 90-year-old bicyclist on April 27th in the Westlake District.
The accident happened at about 5:10 a.m. Surveillance videotape that captured the accident is posted on YouTube. The video shows that the bicyclist, Joo Yoon, was riding his bicycle in a marked crosswalk at 6th St. and Virgil Ave. when he was hit by a dark grey Nissan GT-R with a 3-inch racing stripe that runs from the front fender to tail light.
The driver of the Nissan appears to be an Asian male, approximately 25 years in age, with black hair and brown eyes.
