A bicyclist was killed on Wednesday after colliding with a passenger van in Carson.
The accident happened at approximately 5 p.m. at the intersection of Avalon Blvd. and Gardena Blvd.
The bicyclist, a 57-year-old male, was declared dead at the scene. The bicyclist's identity has not been released, pending notification of relatives. The victim is believed to be a Carson resident.
The driver of the passenger van remained at the scene and cooperated with investigating officers.
